St. John's College Health Sciences Library Collection

The Health Sciences Library has a small and unique collection of nursing textbooks produced by the oldest Catholic nursing school in the United States. These editions of The Nursing Sister were published from 1899 to 1905 and are among the earliest U.S. textbooks in nursing. They were written specifically for religious women studying nursing.
